Job Description

Overview

OPTAVIA is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to create and conceptualize campaign assets that cross all levels of the field marketing department. Must be a recent graduate, or full time student enrolled in Fall classes to be eligible. Portfolio is required for application consideration.

Responsibilities

* Assist in designing daily graphics for support of daily communication plans, including social images, email marketing, extended assets to support various campaigns.Assist in creating, editing, and preparing print collateral for production across our inventory line of print, as well as custom design items for our OPTAVIA Events team.
* Assist in designing print and digital graphics to support OPTAVIA Field Marketing & Communications team, for internal training as well as international expansion.
* Assist in other supportive tasks. Such as photo database inventory, for naming, proofing, photo retouching, etc. To ensure accuracy across our OPTAVIA Recognition, Event, Video, Training and Communication channels.

Qualifications

* Graphic Design experience with at least one prior internship.
* Interest in Marketing & Communications based graphics, with a focus on print layout.
* Working knowledge of graphic design software; including Adobe Cloud: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, Dreamweaver and Adobe Acrobat.
* Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office, Excel and Powerpoint a plus.
* Knowledge of image editing and page layout required.
* Basic print production knowledge for digital, web or offset printing is a plus.
* Portfolio required.
* Organized, detail orientated, dependable with a great attitude.
