Job Description


* Respond to vendor and internal accounts payable inquiries.

* Identify and correct previous errors in commission calculations and make necessary adjustments.

* Reconciliation of carrier statements to the general ledger.

* Accurately perform downloads of company provided data.

* Endorse and verify total for MIG Agy bank deposit.

* Process insured cash receipts in systems.

* Process premium finance contracts.

* Process agency commission payables to producers.

* Process check requests from producers/CSRS to return monies to insured.

* Research discrepancies between carrier billings and agency billings.

* Run month end reports.

* Adhere to Sarbanes Oxley control requirements.

* Ability to interact with others in a professional manner.

* Attendance.


* High school diploma. Some college or technical coursework preferred.

* Experience working in the Insurance industry preferred.

* Excellent and accurate data entry skills with a strong attention to detail.

* General aptitude for bookkeeping/accounting.

* Must have an ability to communicate well and possess strong customer service skills.

* Excellent communication skills and ability to function with minimal supervision.

* Sit, stand, walk/ambulatory.

* Ability to lift 10 pounds.
