Job Description

DIRECTOR OF BUILDING AND GROUNDS This is a full-time, 12 month position which will maintain the physical school plant and facilities in a condition of operating excellence, cleanliness and safety. Must be knowledgeable with all building trades including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, heating and ventilation systems, roofing and must be able to analyze blue prints and all internal system problems. Must have management skills to supervise staff, prepare management reports and have experience in working with union contracts and insure continuous compliance with all regulation acts, including, but not limited to: ADA, OSHA, Clean Air Act, Safe Water Drinking Act, A.H.E.R.A. Requires a minimum of an Associate degree, Bachelors degree preferred. Three years of experience in building and grounds maintenance and custodial supervision.
