Job Description

We are looking for a VERY hands on technical network manager/director for a global company. Must be very close to the technology and able to lead/manage the technical leadership/engineers directly.

Required Experience:

  • Experience coming up through the ranks as a Network Engineer, Senior Network Engineer and now Director/Manager of a Network Infrastructure team. Must be very hands on technically!
  • Bachelor's degree in the technical field or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing technical teams at the director level.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Network Services Management (Cisco route/switch)
  • Minimum of 5 years' of team leadership and experience managing global and remote teams preferred.
  • Active ITIL v3 (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of parts logistics methodologies, such as inbound/outbound logistics, just-in-time and just-in-sequence preferred.
  • Enterprise design and support experience with voice and data networks in support of advanced technologies such as wireless, mobility/presence, Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Windows Server, VMware vSphere, IBM AIX, Linux, Citrix XenServer/App/Desktop, SAN, and NAS.
  • Advanced knowledge of network management tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with developing network technology roadmaps.
