Position Description

The Staff Nurse(SN)/Senior Staff Nurse(SSN)/Staff Nurse-PRN is a professional registered nurse responsible for the nursing care of a defined patient population. Care is provided through the use of the nursing process and in a manner that is cost effective while maintaining quality of care and optimal patient outcomes. The SN/SSN/PRN performs assessments, planning, and implementation of nursing interventions and evaluates the effectiveness of care. The SN/SSN/PRN participates in unit based and organizational quality improvement initiatives, meets continuing education requirements, participates in student/new employee orientations/teaching activities, upholds Patient Care Services philosophy and objectives, demonstrates professional growth and development through involvement in professional organizations, reviews professional literature and participates in continuing education programs.The Neuro ICU / Staff Nurse - Assessment planning implementing nursing interventions and evaluation the effectiveness of the nursing care for patients with Neurological diseases , neuro and nerve treatment, neuro-surgery and stroke patients. This experienced practitioner is responsible for assisting the manager in achieving quality patient outcomes in the department. The Senior Staff Nurse directs care to meet the area demands in a safe, cost effective, and efficient manner. This experienced practitioner is responsible for assisting the manager in achieving quality patient outcomes in the department.

Position Requirements

BSN or advanced nursing degree. Current Registered Nurse License (Georgia). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training. Organization and communication skills, must effectively speak, read and write English.

Preferred Requirements

ACLS by the American Heart Association.BSN- required. Pre
