Job Description

McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital/Tri-Health is a community hospital serving Oxford, OH and surrounding communities by providing quality care and offering competitive wages and a full range of benefits. McCullough-Hyde Hospital has recently affiliated with Tri-Health of Cincinnati. This is to fill 1 PRN PCA position.

Job Summary

The PCA works under the supervision and guidance of the RN responsible for: taking Vital Signs, assisting with everyday activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, collecting specimens for tests and recording treatment. Responsible for communicating with the nurse and relaying vital information about their patients. Timely response to patient calls for assistance, greeting visitors and other hospital staff, assuring orderliness & availability of supplies/equipment.

Qualifications-Minimum

One of the following criteria must be documented:

1.Successful completion and passing test score of a State Tested Nurse Aide

Training and Competency Evaluation Program.

2. A nursing student who has successfully completed one medical-surgical rotation or

another acute care experience.

Education

High School graduate or GED. Completes PCA specialty training and Hospital Specific Training.

PRN as needed

Shift and Job Schedule

PRN as needed
