Department: Accounting and Supply Chain Informatics

A Life-Changing Career

Position Summary: This is a temporary, limited tenure role with an anticipated duration of 2 years after start date.

Responsibilities: The ERP Systems Analyst II works as a liaison between Accounting and/or Supply Chain Management personnel and IT to provide second tier systems support, data reporting and analysis, and project leadership in order to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of ERP systems users and customers of systems information. Makes appropriate decisions, with minimal guidance from leadership, regarding complex issues having cross-divisional and/or cross-site impact. Fosters an environment that promotes teamwork within the work team, the department, and among other business partners throughout the institution and externally.

Performs troubleshooting of complex technical issues related to system functionality, application development, and data integrity. Tracks and follows issues through to resolution, including communications to all stakeholders. Identifies and considers both the business and the technical needs of all customers with the goal of providing quality solutions that meet the user needs. Responsible for data acquisition and analysis, development of recommendations, and coordination of solution implementation. Develops and maintains troubleshooting and solution process and procedure documentation in order to build and enhance the team's knowledge base.

Maintains a broad knowledge of Mayo accounting and/or supply chain systems and processes, including an in depth understanding of their interrelationship and dependencies. Manages system changes having institutional impact including business/systems needs identification, functional specification development, business impact analysis, test plan development, testing and communication. Develops high-quality documentation related to design, configuration, processes/workflow, and integration/interface requirements.

Manages projects of low to moderate complexity, which may include sub-components of larger scale projects as directed by ASCI Leadership. Is accountable to independently manage projects with approved scope, schedule and budget through entire lifecycle. Directs and coordinates all aspects of project including other assigned resources (personnel, tools, etc.)

Facilitates, organizes, and participates in Finance Department and institutional task forces. Develops business relationships with outside consultants, vendors, healthcare clearinghouses, national standards committees, and representatives of other healthcare institutions. Represents Mayo and gives presentations internally as well as at local, state and national conferences and user group meetings. Is recognized and relied upon as a technical and process subject matter expert for accounting and/or supply chain operations.

Rotational on-call responsibility, occasional weekends, and occasional travel required. May supervise and/or direct staff and provides guidance and leadership to junior staff.

Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree and minimum of 4 years experience in accounting, supply chain management, business, healthcare, finance, computer science, or engineering. A master's degree and / or applicable certification may be substituted for 2 years experience. Requires a minimum of 2 years experience in support, configuration, or implementation of an integrated system (e.g. ERP, clinical, other business applications).

Additional Qualifications: General knowledge of core ERP functionality and supporting processes. Experience with Lawson preferred. Direct hands on experience with ad hoc query programs, automated testing tools, and reporting software preferred. Experience in health care accounting or supply chain preferred. Proven ability to successfully manage projects of low complexity. Proficiency in use of office and project efficiency tools (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, statistical packages, etc.) Must demonstrated understanding of operational statistics. Experience with report writing tools in an integrated system preferred (Crystal and Business Objects experience preferred). Exhibits diplomacy, tact, initiative and organizational skills. Must possess ability to inspire trust and confidence, communicate effectively with internal and external audiences and demonstrate ability to maintain outstanding customer relations. Requires individual who is self-directed, can effectively multi-task, thrives in an unstructured environment, and handles ambiguity well.

Compensation Detail: Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $2696.80, based on a full-time position.
Hours/Pay Period: 80
Weekend Schedule: Weekdays 8am - 5pm, rotating on-call responsibility.
