Job Description

We are hiring! 

• AM Buffet Attendant - The AM Buffet Attendant is responsible to promptly greet quests in a professional and friendly manner. Communicates often and well with Hotel Staff. Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet. Responsible for making sure that all items are set up on the buffet table and are put away at the end of the breakfast hours. Responsible for restocking items and reporting items needed to manager, cleaning tables, mopping floors, cleaning toaster, microwave, coffee machine and food displays. Keep preparation area clean. Stock and operate Grab and go breakfast station.

• AM Busser - The AM Busser is responsible for exceeding guest expectations and providing a memorable experience for the guests.  The main function of the Busser is to support the floor staff with multiple tasks around the restaurant, including clearing tables, providing water and refills to guests, maintaining server stations, etc. The Busser will assist the servers, hosts, runners, bartenders and management as necessary.

• Barback - The Barback is responsible for exceeding guest expectations and providing a memorable experience for the guests.  As a Barback you are responsible for basic prep work behind the bar, including such tasks as refilling ice bins, restocking liquor, replacing kegs, cutting garnishes, and clearing away and washing empty glasses and ensuring the bar area is clean and presentable.

• Bartender – The PM Bartender is responsible for exceeding guest expectations and providing a memorable experience for guests. Responsible for setting up and maintaining the bar, maintaining a strong knowledge of all of the menus and of beverages, both alcoholic and non alcoholic, mixed and non mixed.

• Host/Hostess - The Host/Hostess is responsible for guest satisfaction by greeting guests in a welcoming manner, and getting them seated in a timely manner while controlling the flow of the dining room to allow the service staff to provide a great experience.  In addition, will make guest reservations, maintain a knowledge about the Maya menus and other general restaurant and hotel information.

• Lobby Server - The Server is responsible for exceeding guest expectations and providing a memorable experience for our guests. The Server demonstrates a strong knowledge of all menu items and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Takes orders and serves food and beverage items to our customers in a timely, friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner. The Server communicates and works closely with kitchen and restaurant team to ensure customer satisfaction. Manages guest checks and proper payment, and maintains proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment. Additional duties as requested.

• PM Server - The PM Server is responsible for exceeding guest expectations and providing a memorable experience for our guests. The Server demonstrates a strong knowledge of all menu items and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Takes orders and serves food and beverage items to our customers in a timely, friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner. The Server communicates and works closely with kitchen and restaurant team to ensure customer satisfaction. Manages guest checks and proper payment, and maintains proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment. Additional duties as requested.

• Cook - The Line Cook will assist and maintain high quality standards of food and its preparation, service and presentation while maintaining a positive attitude and promoting the enthusiasm of the culinary experience. Will cook, prep, and clean with attention to detail, speed and accuracy, always practicing good food hygiene and safety.

• Steward - The Kitchen Steward will assist and maintain high levels of cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen area while maintaining a positive attitude and promoting the enthusiasm of the culinary experience. Responsible for all ware-washing of china, glass and silver, and kitchen small wares, correct relocation of all cleaned items back to their proper location, disposal of trash and recycling from kitchen to loading dock, and ensuring loading dock cleanliness.
