Stateflow is a high level, graphical programming environment supported by a state of the art simulator, debugger, and code generation engine. The language is powerful, compact, and expressive and is used in the design of millions of real products around the world ranging from cell-phones to aircraft engines. Our group is responsible for all aspects of Stateflow development from language design to compiler optimizations and back-end technologies. The problems we solve are not in textbooks.
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic engineer with a passion for language design, problem solving, and software development. You will join a small, high-energy team focused on improving the usability and expressiveness of the Stateflow language as well as improving the efficiency of the generated code. You will be involved in all aspects of growing the product including requirements gathering, functional design, marketing, intellectual property protection, software design and implementation.
- A bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
- Knowledge of software development
- Familiar with algorithm development
- Excellent C/C++ coding skills
- Experience in building large-scale engineering software and/or compiler technology (intermediate representations, control-flow analysis etc.) is a huge plus
- Experience with MATLAB a plus.
- Experience with Stateflow or Simulink a plus
