Dry Formulation Scientist

The Dry Formulation Scientist role is part of the R&D Department, and is critical to ensure consumer insights and business needs are translated into a bill of raw materials (recipe) that deliver fully compliant products of the highest quality to the market.  This role is primarily responsible for the development, implementation & maintenance of Dry petfood recipes and raw materials within a specific factory that are in line with business processes and company standards.

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Science, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Food Technologist and minimum of 2-3 years R&D experience in a business environment
• Project Management
• Recipe formulation and use of statistics including design of experiment
• Scientific methods and mind-set
• Must speak excellent English and preferably at least one other language
• Ability to travel
