We are currently recruiting a National Business Manager to support our Independent customers, based in Melbourne.

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead a National Account Manager and BMI undertaking performance reviews and a key role in engagement across the team.
  • Ensure the customer experience for Independents is aligned with the high standard Mars sets for its commercial relationships.
  • Meet regularly with your customers and deliver key business & financial metrics across this portfolio
  • Deliver long term business initiatives and mutual growth activities.
  • Lead the creation, management and execution of annual joint business plans
  • Create customer impact plans based on customer survey results.
  • Demonstrate account management best practice by regularly connecting and meeting with customer teams. 
  • Ensure forecast accuracy of >90%
  • Drive communication throughout the team and assist in managing weekly, periodic and quarterly meetings.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with external and internal customers
  • Take ownership of your own development and the development of the team, leveraging programs offered by Mars University.
  • Strive for strong team engagement results of 80 percentile and above in annual Gallup score
  • Role model the Mars 5 Principles in your leadership style.

 

Qualifications and Competencies

 

  • Tertiary Qualification
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Previous people leadership experience
