Support our team in the Petcare Segment at our Verden site near Bremen starting in August as:

Strategic Sourcing Manager


And prove yourself in a variety of challenging tasks such as

• Development and implementation of Petcare Packaging Materials Sourcing Strategy
• Direct responsibility for management of the relationships with key suppliers and Mars factories
• Support innovative packaging concepts and deliver first to market innovation
• Buying area representation and provision of requested input to selected forums
• Work closely with the technical teams on new developments as well as the support and deployment
• Recommend material/process changes for continuous improvement


What we expect from you:
• Bachelor / Master degree
• Min. of 5 years of progressive procurement experience in FMCG environment or similar
• Good knowledge in sourcing strategy development and effective sourcing
• Experience with risk management, sourcing models and supplier management programs
• Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills
• Comfortable working in a diverse, multicultural regional environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, other European languages of advantage
