If so, consider joining an industry-leading Berkshire Hathaway Company as a Territory Manager for our TempRite Engineered Polymers business - the world leader in CPVC compounds!  As a Territory Manager YOU would be responsible for creating awareness and developing primary demand for the TempRite business throughout the Westcoast region of the United states.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development of effective work plans that support the TempRite business strategy
  • Increase the awareness of our three core brands of CPVC: Blazemaster, Corzan and FlowGuard Plus
  • Create demand and specification opportunities for TempRite CPVC with key decision makers (engineers, contractors, builders, etc…) in the marketplace
  • Develop strong relationships with the key distribution channels for pipe, valves, fittings and related components in your territory
  • Conduct product demonstration, application consultation, and installation training for engineering firms, end users, contractors and distributors
  • Utilize and manage qualified leads and coordinate the timely follow up with our manufacturing customers
  • Actively participate in relevant trade associations for the piping markets
  • Identify new products and applications for TempRite CPVC      
  • Timely reporting on field activities and their impact toward meeting business unit sales & revenue objectives

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Associate's Degree in Sales/Marketing, Business and/or Engineering from an accredited college/university
  • 7+ years of plumbing industry experience - sales, business development, distribution, installation contractor, etc…
  • Experience interacting with engineers, plumbing contractors and builders
  • Road Warrior - Ability to travel up to 4 nights / week (average is 60%)
