The Lab Specialist will assist the Bryan facility with testing and releasing product as well as monitoring product quality.  This position will report to the Manager, Manufacturing Quality and will work closely with Operations personnel.  Responsibilities include the day to day monitoring of production quality through lab testing, random sample testing and raw material CofA (Certificate of Analysis) results, FIT meeting participation and working in coordination with the shift lab Operators as well as R&D personnel.



Conduct Intermediate Product and Finished Product Testing / Release

Verify Product Assurance through:

  • Intermediate Product monitoring
  • Finished Product monitoring
  • Raw Material monitoring

Maintain equipment, instruments, supplies and chemicals in accordance with HSE and laboratory procedures.

Responsible for following lab-specific work instructions and procedures as well as special instructions for plant trials.

Responsible for maintaining verification / calibrations checks on critical instruments in accordance with lab-specific guidelines.

Additional duties as assigned



Must have a minimum of 1 year previous lab experience

Organizational skills, Ethical, Clear communication skills, results oriented

Balance short-term and long-term organizational goals

Understanding of process flow in Upstream and Downstream, is preferred

Computer skills (i.e. Lotus Approach, Microsoft Office, Statistical software, Outlook, SAP)

Ability to multi task

Attention to detail

Accurate data entry skills

Able to work overtime
