Design, organize, and implement server infrastructure projects. Maintain current network infrastructure and college servers. Manage Active Directory users and permissions for access to college network resources. Manage data backup and security. Work with website design team to manage website permissions and maintenance. Manage databases used in the college, SQL server, VMWare, and Sharepoint server skills required.

Design, organize, and implement new technology projects in the College of Business. This will include support for the technology and audio/visual equipment in the 23 classrooms, multiple audio/visual equipped common areas, 12 conference and meeting rooms, as well as set up and support audio/visual presentations and events presented in the college.

Provide technical support for faculty (approximately 70), staff (approximately 45), Graduate Assistants (over 150), Graduate students, and student workers in the college.

Manage/monitor Footprints work order system to ensure that all helpdesk requests are attended to and completed in a timely manner. Train and supervise helpdesk student workers and technicians in the use of the work order system and assign jobs from the system to the students , monitoring their progress. Training will involve teaching technical, as well as interpersonal skills needed for providing support for college technology users.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in ISDS, Computer Science, or related field. Degree must be received by May 2019. At least 2 years of experience in system analyst, network administration, or equivalent. SQL Server, Sharepoint, and VMWare experience required.

Special Instructions:Manage existing technology infrastructure, as well as new technology projects and advancements in the E. J. Ourso College of Business. Manage a staff of student technicians to support and maintain over 500 computers among the faculty, staff, graduate assistants/students, computer labs, and multimedia classrooms in the college.
