Lonza Pharma & Biotech in Bend, OR is looking for a Materials Requirements Planner to support Supply Planning. This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 4 to 6 months. As a Materials Requirements Planner, you will be responsible to liaise with key stakeholders to ensure timely updates to material plans, changes to plans and material availability. Key responsibilities: Liaison with Supply Planner and Schedulers to ensure all material plans are up to date and changes in material requirements are captured Work with procurement and quality to ensure material availability Monitor material availability and implement actions required to minimize shortage of materials Within Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, perform required tasks to create planned orders into, convert them into material plans and generate purchase orders Utilize material related Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to create, maintain, measure and ensure material availability Key requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Business, or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree. Minimum high school diploma is required. CPIM (Certified Inventory and Production Management) Certification preferred Experience working with an ERP system is required, SAP preferred Experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and/or Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulated environment is preferred Intermediate level skills using Excel, basic level skills in the MS Office suite and PowerPoint Ability to utilize Business Intelligence systems to extract data and generate reports preferred Ability to influence both Supply Chain and functional leaders to support inventory management/ strategy recommendations Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics (KPI's) and identify issues through root cause analysis People come to Lonza for the challenge and creativity of solving complex problems and developing new ideas in life sciences.
