Software Engineer - Client Applications (Windows/C++)

We are looking for a talented, creative and motivated Software Engineer with strong analytical skills, unwavering commitment to quality, a collaborative work ethic, and cutting-edge technical skills to join our team developing the GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar and GoToTraining app for Windows and Mac OS X. You'll apply your skills and experience in an Agile/lean environment, working closely with other developers, designers, and product managers in our division headquarters.

Principal Job Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will develop complex Software-As-A-Service (SaaS) production software, specifically client applications on the Windows platform. The role requires strong analytical skills, unwavering commitment to quality, a collaborative work ethic, and cutting-edge technical skills. This position will be responsible for projects that are complex, challenging and exciting.

We are looking for someone that has at least 1-3 years of work/professional experience and/or a long-term internship at a mid-large organization. Solid, articulate communication skills are paramount, as we are seeking someone that is curious, open to learning new technologies, asks questions, and expresses their thoughts.

You will be part of a team in an Agile/lean environment, and by working closely with your team members, developers, architects and other key stakeholders, you will implement functionality critical to our business success. At LogMeIn, our customers are our highest priority, and a customer-driven attitude is essential for resolving customer-reported issues in production.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

BS degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 1-3 years' directly related work experience (or less experience + internship with an MS degree)
STRONG experience in C++ and OOAD principles/methodologies
Experience in Windows or Mac development and frameworks
Experience in multi-threaded programming
Strong knowledge of internet technologies and web services
Experience with mobile device application development highly desired
Solid understanding of configuration management and build tools
Experience and understanding of project management methodologies, including agile/scrum
Experience implementing, unit testing, debugging and integrating code of moderate complexity
Experience mentoring/leading an engineering team through a technical project
