Job Description

Loews Minneapolis Hotel, a 22-story property with a history of excellence, is located at the intersection of its city's business, theatre, and entertainment districts. The primary objective of this role is to provide professional, quality, relaxing Manicure, Pedicure and/or Signature Body Treatment services within the Spa, while exceeding the expectations of the guest.

Summary of duties and responsibilities:

* Uphold and support all company policies and procedures as agreed to by the Spa owners.
* Participate in regular spa meetings to learn, understand and support team members in achieving our desired goals and outcomes.
* Participate in hotel/spa events to generate volume and build Spa clientele.
* Maintain the highest standards of guest confidentiality and note taking as necessary.
* Perform Value added services.
* Perform Manicures, Pedicures and/or Signature Spa treatments on all guests.
* Serve as a resource for general product knowledge to all guests and staff members.
* Assist in the preparation and completion of accurate physical inventory as requested.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Major Areas of Responsibilities

* Provides Manicures, Pedicures and Body Treatments according to Spa Treatment Menu.
* Maintenance and cleanliness of spa treatment rooms, nail department, and equipment.
* On-going learning and development

Qualification Requirements

* EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Nail Technician Certification and Minneapolis State License. Spa experience preferred.

* LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

* MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

* REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
