Job Description

In this exciting opportunity on the Operations Analysis team in Palmdale, California, the selected candidate will perform modeling and analysis of military systems and operations to quantify the impact of system design, payloads, weapons and tactics, Concept of Operations (CONOPS) on survivability and mission effectiveness; support requirements definition, operational and cost effectiveness studies, and military utility assessment. This position requires a highly motivated analyst to use and apply engineering/physical principles, analytical techniques, and mathematical concepts/theories to analyze the performance and effectiveness of system concepts. Responsibilities will include researching military systems performance and operations, modeling operational scenarios, preparing digital simulation input data, running engagement/mission simulations, analyzing simulation results, documenting results, and preparing presentations.

The selected applicant will be a member of a high-performing multi-site team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. The ability to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team environment is critical. The successful candidate must demonstrate effective communication skills as the position will require frequent internal interactions with project leads, other team members, and engineers in other disciplines within the Skunk Works. The ability to travel on occasion is required.

Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

ADP AERO Basic Qualifications - Must be a US Citizen, this position will require a security clearance.

- Experience / proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

- Experience working on Windows or LINUX computer systems

- Knowledge of programming or scripting language(s)

- Must have the ability to obtain a Top Secret SAR clearance and access Desired skills - Preferred degrees in electrical engineering, applied math, physics, or Operations Research

- Mathematical and/or Statistical Modeling skills

- MATLAB knowledge and experience

- Design of experiments and/or optimization knowledge

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Strong interpersonal skills
