Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company is seeking candidates who are energized and passionate about helping us build the space technologies of tomorrow for multiple job openings for Electronics Test/Assembly Quality Assurance Engineers. We are going to Mars and beyond! Join us in the journey!

The ideal candidate will be able to support production activities at the Littleton, CO manufacturing facility and have experience in solder, epoxy bonding and wire harness fabrication, inspection or engineering. Familiarity with Electronic Circuit Card Assemblies is advantageous.

Successful candidates will be able to perform all assigned tasks based on demonstrated, certified skills, and abilities necessary to support both ground and flight electronic assemblies; including cables, harness, printed circuit boards, modules, boxes, battery, microelectronics (RF/hybrids) and acceptance tests with exceptional attention to detail. Prepare paper and electronic documentation on nonconforming hardware. A continuous improvement mindset, focus on world class quality, and the ability to work effectively with a team are also key.

Basic Qualifications

1.) Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g., engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g., Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering)

2.) Demonstrated application of manufacturing experience

3.) Knowledge of Manufacturing/Quality processes and documentation

4.) Root Cause Analysis experience or training

5.) Understanding of Test Engineering and anomaly processing

6.) Must be able to work off shifts, overtime and non-standard work weeks as needed to meet product deliveries

Desired skills

1.) Demonstrated experience / working knowledge of SAP (electronic process documentation)

2.) Working knowledge of PR/MRB process

3.) Quality Planning Certification

4.) Electronics experience to include working knowledge of Circuit Cards, Harnesses, Antennas, Power Products, Batteries, and RF/Microwave components

5.) Familiar with production manufacturing floor process/environment

6.) Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification of better

7.) Knowledge of Six Sigma

8.) Working knowledge of manufacturing test practices

9.) Commitment to continuous process improvement

10.) Strong Communication Skills

11.) Strong Customer Relationship Skills

12.) Must display maturity of action and judgment with a demonstrated track record of resourcefulness from their previous assignments.

13.) Working knowledge of external quality standards such as ISO9001 and/or AS9100
