Description:Come join Lockheed Martin's Guidance, Navigation and Control engineering team in Grand Prairie, TX and work on the forefront of missile technology.

Develop and apply your skills in areas such as missile guidance, controls and autopilot design, navigation algorithms, modeling and simulation, Kalman filtering, optimization and trade studies, target tracking, and flight dynamics.

Programming experience is required, with Matlab and C++ preferred. Work in a collaborative environment that supports personal and technical growth while performing with excellence to develop products that really matter.

The ability to obtain a Secret security clearance is required for this position.

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is one of five Lockheed Martin business areas. MFC is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. MFC develops, manufactures and supports advanced combat, missile, rocket, manned and unmanned systems for military customers that include the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, NASA and dozens of foreign allies. MFC pursues business in more than 50 countries with more than 100 product and service lines.

Basic Qualifications:

Masters degree from an accredited college in a Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience/combined education.

Computer programming experience.

Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Matlab and C++

Experience with simulation modeling or some area of GNC-related algorithm development.

Familiarity with missile autopilot design.

Related internship or other industry experience

Masters degree in Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
