Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Brokerage Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all activities within a Release Operations shift, shift scheduling and managing productivity levels to ensure accurate and prioritized timely release and classification in accordance with Livingston International's service standards to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

* Supervise the Rail Center staff daily, determine shift resource allocation and assist with ongoing coaching, guidance, training and development for the members.
* Review current workload and delegation of work to release operations members.
* Complete staff performance management, disciplinary action, time and attendance approval and assist release operations members with planning and achieving future goals.
* Supervise Release Import Analysts to resolve release issues, approve escalations to Client Service Teams (e.g. 2nd step releases).
* Monitor release operations members against key performance indicators and regularly communicate progress.
* Ensure accurate and timely release and rating of all rail shipments for designated client base.
* Support release operations as needed to help the meet its performance objectives.
* Facilitate relationships between Release Operations, Regional Manager, Client Service Teams, Support Service and other internal departments within Livingston.
* Provide technical expertise in Customs regulations.
* Accountable for release operations service levels.
* Review, analyze and communicate changes in regulations/trade initiatives and identify impact to client base and release operations.
* Identify process improvements and efficiencies by facilitating discussions within release operations for opportunities to enhance client service and improve day to day operations.
* Participate in the development, coordination and implementation of required changes to company processes and procedures to incorporate continuous improvement initiatives.
* Aid in the implementation of new business for release operations.
* Oversee rejects and hold work queues to ensure corrections and escalations are resolved.

Requirements:

* High school Diploma or Equivalent along with 5+ years of US Customs brokerage experience.
* At least 2+ years of proven team lead or supervisory experience.
* Customs Brokerage License is a definite PLUS!
* Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and delegation
* Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Intermediate to Advanced computer, web navigation, and data entry skills
* Willingness to be on call on a rotating basis
* Must be able to work 4pm - 12am Monday - Friday.
* Customs Brokerage License is a definite PLUS!
* Ability to work in a fast pace environment and handle a large volume of work
