Job Description

The Software Engineer - New Grad responsibilities include the design, development and analysis of embedded software for real-time satellite communications systems and Microsoft Windows based PC applications that control and monitor satellite communication systems. Our work includes: bandwidth-efficient satellite and line-of-sight voice, data and control modems, voice and data radios for delivery to worldwide markets, complete terminals, antenna systems, small, lightweight, lower power, man-portable and multi-platform tactical Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) systems, integration of sophisticated intelligence systems into mobile platforms, and information processing systems and services.

This position is for a recent college graduate with a Bachelors degree (Master's preferred) in electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science and a GPA of at least 3.5. Applicants must be proficient with C, C , and C# languages, development environments such as MS Visual Studio, and software version control systems. Experience with multithreaded real time embedded programming and operating system ( i.e. VxWorks, embedded LINUX, etc.) is highly desired. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, TCP/IP networking, and distributed programming is a plus, along with experience with communications systems/theory. Candidates must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
