Assistant Administrator, Executive Director, Nursing Home Administrator

LifeStream at Cook Health Care, is a leader in providing compassionate care for Seniors in a beautiful 126 bed skilled nursing facility located in Youngtown, Arizona (111th Avenue and Peora Avenue). We seek an energetic and enthusiastic self-starter to join our team as the Assistant Administrator. Our Assistant Administrator assists our Administrator with the operations and supervision, training and mentoring of all Nursing Home and Assisted Living staff. Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing setting is required. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional, with a passion for serving Seniors.

* Must possess a working knowledge of the functions of a skilled nursing facility.
* Must be flexible, exhibit strong leadership skills, and have a positive outlook toward the job and the goals of the community.

Skills/ Requirements

* Arizona Nursing Home Administrator license
* Arizona Assisted Living Manager license
* Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing environment
* CPR/First Aid certification
* Strong leadership skills and track record of leading a team of all levels of Associates
* Yearly TB test (if needed, a Chest X-ray)
* Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card (or ability to obtain one)

About Lifestream

LifeStream is a private, not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) comprehensive blood center serving more than 80 medical facilities in Southern California. Based on the need for a readily available blood supply, LifeStream was established by the medical societies of San Bernardino and Riverside counties and has been helping to save lives by connecting donors and patients through the gift of blood since June 19, 1951.
Healthy volunteer blood donors are needed for surgery and trauma patients, transplant recipients, premature infants and cancer patients. To meet emergency and ongoing patient need, LifeStream must receive at least 500 donations daily in order to support 175,000 transfusions annually. Multiple blood drives are held daily at business sites, churches, government agencies, high schools, colleges and civic organizations. In addition, LifeStream operates five donor centers located in San Bernardino, Riverside, Ontario, Victorville and La Quinta. Blood components are stored and distributed from LifeStream facilities in San Bernardino, Placentia, Victorville and La Quinta.
