Job Description

Under the supervision of the Salesforce Administrator and working together with the Sales Operations Team, the Associate Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the overall success of the Salesforce.com platform by executing customization projects and performing administrative/development tasks.

The Associate Salesforce Administrator should develop strong knowledge of Liferay's sales, invoicing, and commissioning processes and will act as the subject matter expert when aligning these processes with application functionalities. S/he also troubleshoots and works with internal end users to ensure that applications (i) meet their needs and (ii) keeps pace with changes in sales operations, policies and/or procedures. Additionally, the Associate Salesforce Administrator may coordinate and/or execute special projects to streamline existing sales operations or implement new processes to improve sales operations.

Responsibilities Include:

* Perform ongoing system administration (maintaining user roles, security settings, profiles, workflow rules and data integrity).
* Manage dashboards, reports, forms, templates, custom objects, object relationships, fields and layouts.
* Monitor and resolve issue/bug tickets related to Salesforce.
* Monitor and respond to posts within the Salesforce internal forum, with eye towards enforcing consistent policies globally.
* Assist with clean-up procedures, including data migrations and mass data uploads.
* Help drive end-user adoption of Salesforce through documentation, support and training of new and current employees.
* Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help related materials for users (eg., Salesforce Reference Guide).
* Fully understand the sales operations/processes underlying the Salesforce implementation.
* Drive standards within Salesforce implementation.


* 1+ years of strong technical and functional experience with Salesforce.com.
* Undergraduate degree in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics).
* Demonstrated proficiency in custom objects, workflow and validation rules, email templates, formulas, dashboards, and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of Apex/Visualforce is a plus, but not required.
