HCA Nurse Residency Program (Operating Room)

StaRN Program (22 weeks total):

Whether you are an experienced RN or a New Grad, our StaRN Program will provide you with the tools necessary to succeed in today's Operating Room environment. It will help you transition out of the classroom setting or out of your current unit and into the OR by providing you with the following training:

* 10 weeks classroom, self-study, skills & simulations
* 12 weeks preceptorship
* Certifications: ECG, TeamSTEPPS, BLS/ACLS

After StaRN, you will transition into our Professional Development Residency:

* 9 month program factored into a full time position in the OR
* You will learn Charge Nurse and Preceptor skills
* You will collaborate with a mentor to complete an evidence based Capstone Project (4 hours a month)
* Your project has an opportunity to gain recognition by corporate for further recognition

Education: RN Licensure to begin position required. Graduate of an accredited nursing school required.

Experience: Acute hospital RN care experience highly preferred
