Leidos is looking for a top performer who wants to be a lead in the Leidos Finance organization as a Financial Planning & Analyst (FP&A) reporting to the Finance & Business Operations (F&BO) Manager for one of our commercial operations. As a member of the Leidos Finance Organization this position will apply principles of finance and accounting to analyze financial statements for monthly/quarterly/annual financial Outlooks. Analyzing variances using enterprise toolsets and controlling project costs.

Position may be in any of the following locations: Oak Ridge, TN, Nashville, TN, or Reston, VA.

Position responsibilities will include:

* Develop annual and quarterly forecasts working with divisional management and project controls to develop revenue, project margin, capital expenditures, and labor base baselines
* Develop consolidated P&L all in the support of the Operation's F&BO Manager
* Subject matter expert of the internal financial and enterprise forecasting toolsets
* Attend weekly Group FP&A meetings as operations representative
* Develop and drive the quarterly and annual forecasting schedule ensuring milestones are achieved by divisional management
* Prepare monthly financial analysis reports comparing variances with annual and quarterly forecasts against revenue, margins, labor multipliers, and labor utilization
* Plan indirect expenditures and monthly investigate variances while working with corporate accounting and finance to understand/resolve
* Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes. Support Senior Management Team and Division management with in-depth analysis
* Support monthly financial close process and preparation of presentations with Operations' F&BO manager for Group and Senior Management Teams
* Oversee and manage the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools
* Conduct Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis as required by functional and/or Senior management


* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, General Business Administration or other related field from an accredited college/university.
* 8+ years demonstrated experience performing Accounting, Finance, or Economics-related financial data analysis tasks (experience can be obtained through college coursework/projects, internships or on the job)
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
* Demonstrated expert user-level proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
* Experience with Costpoint and Enterprise Performance Management Systems a plus.
* Ability to quickly comprehend processes and learn systems and tools.
* Ability to execute data mining and analysis and present those findings to management.
* Ability to be accountable and professional while maintaining effective interpersonal (written, verbal and presentation) skills while managing multiple priorities.
* Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
* Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
