Requirements for Applying

Minimum Requirements: Any combination equivalent to an Associate's degree and/or five (5) years in a similar clerical position or related field and two years of increasingly responsible clerical and secretarial experience.Required Documents (must be attached to your Edjoin application):* Copy of High School diploma or higher degree* Resume* Typing Certificate indicating 45 wpm (net) or better dated within 12 months. Typing certificates can be obtained from a recognized employment agency, business college, adult school or government agency. Please check for typing certificate facilities close to you or check out the facilities listed in the edjoin link. Typing certificate documentation should include name and phone number of the organization/agency administering the test as well as an original signature. Internet certificates will not be accepted.Current LESD employees should complete and submit a Reassignment Request Form, typing certificate indicating 45 wpm (net) or better dated within 12 months and resume (preferred) to Human Resources before the closing date. Substitutes should apply on Edjoin.Special Note: Applicants must take and pass a written (scantron) test with a score of 70% or better.
