The Tax Associate for Laureate Education will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of US Federal, State and Local income tax returns, preparation of income tax provisions, as well as researching various tax related issues. This position will interact with other Corporate and international regional personnel regarding tax related issues.

This position is based in Laureate Education's corporate headquarters in Baltimore, MD. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assist in the preparation of US Federal, State and Local income tax returns
* Assist with preparation of income tax provisions
* Research various tax issues and prepare position paper documentation
* Expected to develop a working knowledge of requisite software and internal work flow/procedures
* Enhance educational experience in tax and business by applying such experiences into the business world

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

* Expecting to earn an undergraduate or graduate degree in taxation, finance, accounting, business, or a related field within the next two years.
