Position Overview

The primary responsibilities of the Analyst, Investor Relations are to conduct and produce primary research, to perform and present financial and competitive analysis, to contribute to the preparation of Investor Relations related materials, analyses and presentations, and to collaborate with team members in accounting, finance, FP&A, treasury and operations.  All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands’ policies, practices, and procedures. 

The Las Vegas Sands Investor Relations team is dedicated to providing superior service to the global investment community and to Las Vegas Sands team members including the senior leadership team of Las Vegas Sands. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform general and industry specific research
  • Monitor industry trends and applicability to our business
  • Perform financial analyses
  • Build financial models
  • Prepare analyses to study the financial and operating performance of the company and competitors
  • Manage vendor relationships
  • Draft reports, assist with the preparation of press releases and other materials
  • Organize, manage and prepare the content and supporting materials for quarterly conference calls, annual shareholders’ meetings and other investor relations events
  • Contribute to the execution of the Global Investor Targeting Program
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the Investor Relations Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Build and maintain high-quality internal and external relationships based on trust, competence and timely follow-through
  • Contribute to the work of others in the Company and collaborate with Team Members in accounting, treasury, financial planning & analysis, and operations
  • Prepare presentations and documents for senior leadership, board of directors, and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide support to the senior leadership team in the conduct of their duties
  • Participate in meetings and attend special events
  • Other duties as directed that will advance the Company’s objectives
  • Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job


Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age.
  • Proof of authorization to work in the United States

  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Science or the Humanities
  • 2 years of corporate experience as a financial analyst, likely in an investment banking environment
  • Strong understanding of financial statements
  • Working knowledge of financial markets and investments
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming Control Board Registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy. 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
  • Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to:

  • Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
  • Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
  • Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
  • Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
  • Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
