Job Description

Position Overview

The primary responsibility of the Manager - Corporate Accounting Analysis is to lead and / or individually contribute, as required, in the areas of financial planning & analysis, system implementation, process and control improvement (effectiveness and efficiency) and project manage related initiatives in corporate accounting, treasury, planning & analysis, shared services, casino accounting, and internal controls, as required.


All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Key Performance Objectives
    • Ensures that delegated  finance, accounting and control processes are executed in a timely manner and supported by sound, effective and efficient procedures and controls, consistent with LVS policy and regulatory requirements
    • Engages on audit and regulatory findings and recommendations in a timely manner, collaborates with other teams on response and tracks execution of commitments to ensure timely completion
    • Advocates and helps design automated solutions that include and address financial and compliance control requirements
    • Advocates Corporate programs and policies to other business units and divisions in a constructive and supportive manner and helps facilitate change


  • Key Responsibilities
    • Provides effective oversight, identifies potential hurdles and deficiencies and takes responsibility for preventing delay and resolving potential conflict
    • Makes recommendations to management on improving efficiency, soundness and global consistency of procedures and controls and tracks necessary improvements to completion
    • Provides inputs and executes strategic plans as delegated and supports local Finance management
    • Reports regularly to stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner
    • Manages team and stakeholder relationships in a manner that exemplifies and promotes a culture of respect, discipline, teamwork, compliance and control
    • Performs other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • 21 years of age
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance and Accounting or other relevant field
  • Additional professional certifications preferred
  • 5 years of financial, hospitality or gaming industry or public accounting firm experience is required; casino/resort knowledge and experience preferred
  • Be experienced with accounting, compliance and operational systems and have a strong understanding or and experience with financial process and control design and implementation
  • Be first and foremost professional in appearance and attitude, respectful in approach, articulate and constructive in communication and enjoy and foster a culture of teamwork
  • Must possess the ability to read, analyze, and evaluate financial report, transactions, regulatory guidelines, and accounting and compliance policies

Work Environment

  • Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature, with frequent interruptions or distractions
  • Adapt to frequent changes in workload and be able to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate while completing tasks within established time frames
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow Team Members, management, outside contacts, guest and the public
  • Ability to meet the basic physical requirements of an office environment including moving freely and frequently about an office, accessing computers and related technologies using peripheral equipment and operating other office equipment
