Job Description

Entry-level position in the field of Electronics Packaging. This group produces a wide variety of hardware items ranging from RF/Microwave electronically steered antenna arrays to high speed/high density signal processing enclosures. Candidate is responsible for the packaging design of these complex electronic assemblies and subassemblies for airborne applications. This includes writing procedures and reports for their environmental qualification testing for airworthiness of various assemblies. Designs will be accomplished using world-class, three-dimensional solid modeling CAD tools and work will be accomplished with senior-level design engineers. Knowledge of GD&T, machining, stamping, metal forming and electronics assembly methodologies is beneficial. Candidate must be able to communicate well with Customers, Systems Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Planning & Production personnel.

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or appropriate engineering discipline with 0-2 years of related experience
* Minimum of 3.0 cumulative GPA
* Must be able to communicate effectively and work in a team environment or on independent assignments
* Good computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Must be willing to relocate, if necessary
* CAD skills are highly desired

Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance which requires US citizenship.
