Job Description

Job Summary

The Marketing Operations Specialist will support the Supervisor, Marketing Operations in managing all functions associated to Marketing Operations. A key function of this role will be to assist in the management of the Marketing & enterprise project management application, Podio and the Sales & Marketing platform Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Other responsibilities of this role include: development and implementation of required policies and procedures, vendor contracts, creative development; assisting in the education and enforcement of the internal review & approval process; support the activities of the Marketing Department by handling Marketing project submissions from implementation to completion and; and working with design team as it pertains to operations. In addition, this role includes conducting market research on new advances and technology that help to evolve existing processes and operational services. The position involves a range of diverse activities to maximize productivity and effectiveness of the Marketing department and requires professional communication and organizational skills.


* Responsible for assisting in the management of Marketing's primary operational platforms, Podio and Marketing Cloud; to ensure global oversight, monitoring and system enhancements. Responsible for active and continuous technical operations, insuring consistent on-going operations. Research 3-party additions, evaluate services and recommend evolving solutions.
* Establish relationships with business partners to work with them to efficiently optimize existing Podio and Marketing Cloud operations. This includes educating, administering and championing current processes and protocols such as the review and approval process, Podio submissions, how we work with Production, and Design. Establish relationship with Podio sales and technical support personnel to maximize all services that are available to L.A. Care as a customer.
* Work with internal business partners, where Podio's architecture can serve as an online solution to their operational needs. Research and gain knowledge of existing operational applications such as GlobiFlow, Box and Marketing Cloud in an effort to provide solutions as it pertains to operations.
* Creative strategic support. Coordinate and assist in managing processes that relate to creative strategic efforts. This includes assisting in scheduling Marketing brainstorming sessions, creating operational department reference sheets, developing operational usage workflows, and contributing to the implementation and fulfillment of sales and marketing campaigns.
* Assist in the development of required Policies and Procedures, Vendor Contracts, workflow improvements for sound operations.
* Perform other duties as assigned.


Associate's Degree

training/certification in a technical or a business school.



With Associate's Degree or Technical School Certificate: 4 years of marketing, healthcare experience; preferably in a marketing setting.

* Strong logical and analytical skills paired with effective creative skills.
* Strong coordination and organizational skills and sound judgment. Strong interpersonal, project management and written/verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat. Basic knowledge of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud. Knowledge of Podio, Workflow Automation a plus.
* Ability to meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail and accuracy while working independently or as part of a team. Proven ability to handle high-volume workload and multi-tasking projects. Ability to change course and direction in a changing environment.
* Knowledge of tools, techniques for collecting, collating and analyzing information about existing or potential markets and market needs.
* Knowledge of options and opportunities to advertise organization's products, services

Equivalent Experience:

With High School Diploma/GED: 5+ years of marketing, healthcare experience; preferably in a marketing setting.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary (occasionally lifting no more than ten pounds, and sitting with occasional walking and standing.)
