Job Title:Mechanical Engineer

Job Type:Temporary

Responsibilities and Duties:Mechanical Engineer to analyze, design and test electro-mechanical systems for high-performance multi-axis robotic semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Capable of using CAD tools (Pro-E software), Finite Element Modeling (Pro Mechanica or equivalent), MathCad, Excel and other analysis software. Ability to perform analysis and calculations necessary to ensure designs meet requirements including reliability, manufacturability, and cost targets. Ability to perform testing, write reports, and evaluate prototype designs against product requirements. Coordinates and assists others (engineers, designers, and technicians) as necessary to meet customer requirements. Adheres to schedules, project milestones, and accomplishment of assigned objectives.

Requirements:

Experience

* 8-15 years of CAD (Pro-E) experience required. Knowledge of materials and production methods. Ability to work independently and with teams. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Minimum of 8 years experience with precision mechanical engineering design. Machine design experience and ability to perform detailed analysis related to motion systems and mechanism designs.

Education

* Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering minimum

Other Requirements

* Desired skills in analysis related to thermal, motion, vibration and response dynamics. System design involving multiple axes, servo, pneumatic actuators, stepper and other drive/sensing methods.
