Koch Fertilizer Ft. Dodge is looking for a highly motivated Instrumentation Engineer to become part of the Reliability team at our fertilizer plant of about 80 employees near Ft. Dodge, IA. The Instrumentation Engineer will work cross functionally with Koch Reliability, Operations, Maintenance, and EH&S teams and will be responsible for management of small projects and capital project support through all phases of the project from scope development through commissioning and handoff to Operations. The successful applicant will report to the Reliability Leader.

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

* Experience managing small projects (in industry, academic career, or internship)
* Experience with field instrumentation specification
* Ability to work nights, weekends and occasional callouts as needed to support the plant
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering OR 2+ years of experience in instrumentation engineering support

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work at heights of approximately 25-100 ft
* Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
* Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
* Unassisted physical mobility around a plant
* Ability to sit, stand or kneel as needed
* Ability to work nights, weekends, and occasional callouts as needed to support the plant
* Ability to wear all necessary PPE (hard hat, boots, glasses, FR's, leather gloves, etc.)

What Will Put You Ahead:

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
* Knowledge of process industry standards and codes, i.e. OSHA, ISA, IEC, NFPA, ISA 84 Functional Safety, etc.
* Experience in instrumentation controls systems, DCS, SIS and functional safety
