Koch Industries' international commerce capability, KBX, LLC, is seeking an International Commerce Analyst to join our team in Wichita, KS. This role supports our expanding international commerce ocean and airfreight commercial initiatives, including supporting market analysis and reporting, rates and carrier service benchmarking, along with managing the ongoing contracting rate procurement processes.

A successful applicant will have the following characteristics:

* Outstanding critical and economic thinking skills, ability to apply spatial thinking, and strong problem-solving
* A customer obsessed focus with excellent communication skills both written and oral
* Ability to successfully collaborate with multiple internal and external constituencies to ensure safe, efficient and compliant logistics operation that solve the customers need and transforms their experience.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

* Managing and analyzing long term request for quote bid processes and spot rate request by coordinating with business requestors, ocean and air carriers and freight planners

* Assuring that various ERP systems contain the up to date rate and route information

* Using your analytical skills to benchmark current market positions and develop a foundationally sound point of view of the forward markets

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree

* Previous experience working in a corporate business environment in either an internship/co-op or full-time role

* Demonstrated analytical capabilities with experience using Microsoft Office software (Access - database creation/ tracking and reporting, Excel - database structure, pivot tables and analytical add-ins, Power BI, etc.)

* Ability to travel up to 15%

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelors or Masters in social sciences, economics, or supply chain/logistics

* Studies in statistics and statistical methods and tools

* Experience with statistical analysis platforms and methodologies, with the ability to make recommendations on tools you have experience with

* An interest in improving processes and developing a deep understanding of international commerce market drivers
