Group/Division

The Global Service Support Organization (GSS) team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Product Training, and Technical Support. The GSS organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Responsibilities

Highly motivated self-driven individual to be part of a design team to develop, prototype, test and qualify an embedded image acquisition circuitry including board and FPGA firmware designs, electronics integration.

Test interface design and evaluate a given new camera's performance meeting tool requirements.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

Knowledge and experience in electrical systems, electronic design, analog/digital design, CPLD/FPGA design, control systems, embedded microprocessor based electronic hardware, power electronics, electrical system design, motion control, control system, image acquisition, embedded image processing or data conversion

It is a plus to have - Precision industrial camera fundamental knowledge. Serial communications such as RS232, Ethernet, USB, firewire, etc.. Machine Vision system knowledge. Image processing algorithm fundamentals. Previous projects relevant to build or integrate an embedded evaluation electronic board using microprocessor, FPGA, Verilog, simulations, communications, etc.

Solid team player and be able to work in a multi-discipline and multi-culture global organization

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
