We are recruiting an Employee Relations Representative to join our Human Resources Department.
Assists in providing guidance, policy interpretation, and consultation to management teams on a wide variety of employee relations matters, including EEOC and other state and federal anti-discrimination laws, Immigration regulations, FMLA, ADA, and performance issues. Assists in conducting internal investigations, documents and prepares responses.
Advises managers on policy interpretation/application and solutions in response to employee complaints, performance management, discipline and termination, while complying with federal and state labor and employment laws and company policy and procedures
Conducts internal investigations of field employee relations issues such as harassment, discrimination, Open Door Policy complaints, and retaliation, including interviews with facility employees and analyzing documentation Drafts written responses to issues as appropriate.
Investigates, researches and applies state and federal laws and regulations as they pertain to employee relations issues.
Facilitates cooperation and coordination between Support Center departments, including Human Resources, Payroll, Travel, Risk Management, Legal, etc., in the resolution of employee concerns received by the Compliance Hotline or through the Open Door process.
Demonstrated understanding of various HR disciplines and how they are applied to Employee Relations area
Demonstrated knowledge of progressive HR practices
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Analytical, planning and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communication or related field
3 years experience in assisting employees/managers with human resource related issues
Prefer experience in large multi-site company
