Want to be at the cutting edge of Research and Development? Join the team that's taking world leading Keysight electronics for precision, AFM and SEM products from design to production.

As a R&D engineer in the Nano Scaling Science Division R&D group, you will be involved with the design and development of EE incorporating electronics interfacing lasers and optics.

You will solve a broad range of EE both software & Hardware problems of varying scope and complexity while developing and releasing new products to production. This includes product design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and documenting.

External Qualifications

Must have:

1. Minimum Qualifications- BS and or MS pursuing in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or EECS, MS degree EE or equivalent
2. Understanding of operating systems and software drivers
3. Basic understanding of hardware
4. Experience programming with one of more of the following: Linux, BSO, Windows, VxWorks
5. Strong data analysis skills.- Excellent communication skills.- Ability to function effectively in a team environment.- Ability to quickly learn new technologies
6. Experience with object oriented languages. C++ , C#Java.
7. Experience with C and Visual Basic
8. Real-hands on training in Software development
9. Experience with high performance RTL and associated verification and debug
Experience with PCB physical mixed-signal design tools and flows
10. Mix-signal (Analog and Digital) circuits
11. Strong communication and teamwork skills
12. Embedded uProcessor knowledge

Qualifications :

Musts

Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent.
Ability to work in a multi-disciplined, cross-department environment.
Ability to design and model precision mechanical structures
A working knowledge of structural stress, load and resonance, including the ability to design and characterize them for stability and heat transfer.
Ability to prepare product reports and estimate engineering cost of the product
Have 3+ years of experience with 3D modeling software such as Solidworks.

Wants (Skill or experience in the following areas would be a plus, but aren't required.)

Experience with milling and lath machines
Experience with manufacture process and quality control
Familiar with FEA analysis tools
Experience with sheet metal fabrication
Duration: full time 7-9 months
