Summer 2019 Internship Opportunity for an Energy and Environmental Analyst in Pittsburgh, PA.

KeyLogic seeks to hire an Energy and Environmental Analyst Intern to join our Pittsburgh-based Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) team. The team conducts LCAs and other analyses of large-scale energy systems for a variety of clients. The Intern will apply process engineering principles, energy sector knowledge, and statistical methods to support systems level energy analysis. The Intern will work with the team to develop and apply methods and tools, collect and analyze data, integrate and interpret results, and communicate findings in publications and presentations.

The Intern must have access to transportation and able to work onsite at the Department of Energy (DOE) National Energy Technology Lab (NETL) located in South Park, PA.

Position Requirements:

* Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Science or Engineering
* Experience with data analysis and statistical methods

Preferred Qualifications:

* Pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Environmental, or other process-based Engineering discipline
* Familiarity with life cycle assessment/sustainability concepts, especially as they relate to the energy industry
* Python programming experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
