Sales/Use Tax Intern

Job Responsibilities:

* Creating customer tax exemption certificates using SOVOS Compliance software (formerly Taxware).
* Analyze Sales tax issues and communicate the solutions to internal and external customers.
* Complete and submit Personal Property Tax Rendition forms.
* Submit Personal Property and Real Estate invoices for payment.
* Working with a third party provider to coordinate the completion and submission of the Kennametal Stellite LP Sales/Use tax returns and payments
* General Ledger reconciliation of monthly Sales/Use tax activity using excel spreadsheets
* Assist with State Sales/Use tax audit documentation retrieval requests.


* Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
* Excellent analytical skills
* Possess a high level of accuracy
* Intermediate level Excel skills
* Familiar with SAP ERP system
* Familiar with Microsoft Outlook


* Junior or Senior Accounting, Finance or Business Management major
* 3.0 or higher GPA

This position works under the broad direction of the Corporate Tax Manager and Senior Tax Analyst.
