Job Description

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for promoting and selling Keiser products to accounts within the territory assigned in order to achieve annual sales and profit objectives. The Territory Sales Manager will report to the VP of North American Sales.

Territory Sales Manager - New York, Washington DC and Pennsylvania

  • Build and grow a sales pipeline within designated territory utilizing successful sales solutions.
  • Prospect for new business both over the phone and in-person while growing existing accounts.
  • Target and communicate with prospective clients in areas such as health clubs, performance facilities, universities, dealer networks and senior housing facilities.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing team to develop best practices sales strategies.


  • Experience in closing new business in a direct commercial sales environment.
  • Strong people management, networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication.
  • Superior organizational ability and attention to detail.
  • Familiarty with fitness equipment and the fitness industry.
  • Intense drive for success and a "no excuses" approach to making things happen.
  • Team player with strong work ethic and willingness to pitch in whenever necessary.
  • Two or four year college degree with a concentration in exercise science or sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge of a variety of computer programs (Sugar or similar CRM, Word, Excel, Email, Internet, etc.)
  • Selling skills, persuasiveness, customer service, integrity and professionalism in daily administration of this position.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience, which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the job, will be considered.

Work Environment:

  • Home based office conditions with extensive phone work.
  • Working and living in the assigned region.
  • Travel and average of 40-50% per year to visit customers and dealers, and attend trade shows.

  • Driving the company vehicle to demonstrate product to customers.
