Venue Coordinator

Job Description

As an In Person Venue Coordinator you will…

* Be part of a dynamic team that pushes our In Person business from schedule driven staffing model into a teacher driven scheduling model that builds class schedules around our top teachers and market needs.


* Partner daily with Scheduling Manager(s) and Teacher Manager(s) to proactively manage inventory strategy as well as review upcoming and ongoing classes.


* Collaborate with team to solve problems and ensure excellent student experiences across your geographical area.


* Identify and schedule rooms for In Person classes and events.


* Coordinate all scheduling changes, including cancellations, make-up sessions, and capacity management.


* Support Kaplan-owned facilities, including auditing, coordinating site visits, monitoring, escalating and resolving reported issues.


* Ensure billing accuracy and timely payment to vendors, including A/P resolution.


* Be responsible for End-of-Month financial reporting including reviewing, auditing and processing credit card transactions and invoices for proper expense coding.


* Serve as a customer service rep for In Person classroom vendor issues, including resolution of reported issues.


* Coordinate Kaplan owned facility usage between KTP businesses and other Kaplan business units.


* Obtain and review contracts to ensure they meet legal requirements, signs contracts from vendors, and escalates when necessary.


* Follow all SOPs and SLAs for service and operations.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree


* Strong in Excel and Google products


* Ability to analyze data and make data based decisions


* Ability to thrive in an innovative, creative, and teamwork-oriented professional environment


* Ability to work extended hours in order to meet business objectives (some evening and weekend hours required)


* Embracive of a fast-paced working environment with evolving job responsibilities
