About This Role:

Kansas State University 2025 plan workload requires personnel resources to meet the requirements for construction of maintenance and minor renovation project

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Requirements:

* Requires a bachelors degree and one year of relevant experience. This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelors Degree in Construction, Architecture or Engineering.
* Three years of relevant experience preferred.
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written.
* Ability to make accurate status, and quality control assessments, to complete jobs/projects.
* Ability to analyze facts, prepare project cost estimates, communicate job status, and make sound judgment through the use of extensive knowledge of standard practices/procedures involved in the construction trade.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and knowledge of work order management systems (such as AiM). Comfortable in a highly fluid work environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Highly detail oriented and organized. Strong ability to forecast and plan in order to maximize efficiency based on available resources.
* Knowledge of local codes and standards of design & construction.
* Experience in a university setting or similar environment.
* Ability to travel on and off campus locations for business relations.

Other Requirements:

* Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
* Valid driver's license upon employment.
* Must be insurable
* Completion of Asbestos Awareness training within six months of employment.
* Must be able to access job sites including roofs, tunnels, crawl spaces, and attics utilizing lifting devices, scaffolding, and ladders.

$42,930-$66,230 Annually
