Job Description

This is a temporary internship position not to exceed 6 months. Undergraduate level internship work may include less involved research projects and documentation; phone communication, meeting minute transcriptions; Power Point production; social media maintenance; document and template updates; marketing material production; website updates.

 

Essential Functions:

         Facilitate implementation of established action items as identified on survey readiness plan for upcoming Joint Commission Accreditation survey. 

         This will include the following:

         Communication with staff responsible for work assignments to facilitate task completion, follow up communication and verification of work assignments, tracking completed tasks and providing email and/or verbal reminders of upcoming tasks due. 

         Assists with data collection, analysis and creating reports. 

         Prepares progress reports and prepares and provides presentations related to survey readiness activities.

      Demonstrated research, communication, and follow-up skills.

      Proven ability to maintain effective working relationships and maintain confidentiality at all levels internally and outside of the organization.

      Proficient in use of computer programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet.

      Experienced in the use of office equipment, including fax machine, copier and scanners.


Education
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
A college student of any age or background having completed at least 31 credits and enrolled the previous semester.
License, Certification, Registration
N/A
 
Additional Requirements:
Must be willing to relocate to site of internship.
