Department Profile:
Within the HealthWorks and Product Innovation department, the Product Innovation & Evaluation team identifies market trends in worksite wellness and communicates results to a large sales support team. We establish the criteria, tools and methodology for evaluation of Kaiser Permanentes worksite wellness programs and complete program evaluation and reporting. We aim to provide customers with meaningful insights that help them make well informed, cost effective decisions about their healthcare investments and improve the total health status of their employees.
Intern Project Summary:
1) The ideal candidate will be responsible for updating a comprehensive database of up to the minute wellness research and assisting in communicating key messages to various audiences across the organization.
Collecting, prioritizing and summarizing the latest research in wellness
Conducting industry wide research to refresh the list of wellness topics for use by a number of different audiences to support their customer conversations
Building a sustainable communications strategy to increase awareness to HealthWorks teams and groups across the enterprise
2) The ideal candidate will provide general assistance to support the roll out of HealthWorks new vendor management strategy
Conducting research to identify best in class health mobile applications and wellness vendors
Conducting primary and secondary research for nutrition and exercise programs
Creating materials to ensure operational readiness including product training and implementation guides
Redesigning team website
3) Additionally, the intern may be asked to support the Program Evaluation team in developing robust evaluation and reporting tools
