Founded in 1937, the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges (NCJFCJ) represents America's 9,000-plus judges who exercise jurisdiction over delinquency, abuse and neglect, divorce, custody, support, domestic violence and similar types of cases throughout the country. The Family Violence Department serves as the National Resource Center on Domestic Violence: Child Protection and Custody and has been a primary leader in enhancing the judicial response to domestic violence. NCJFCJ is the nation's oldest national judicial membership organization.
