Job Description:

Duties: Advise prospective and established clients on company's stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and derivatives offerings, as well as on market conditions. Set up client meetings and draft summaries of how new developments in the financial technology industry affect clients' investments. Negotiate terms of contracts and draft prospectuses, engagement letters, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) for investment banking transactions. Serve as external parties' central point of contact on transaction execution documents, and coordinate work with client team members, product partners, lawyers, and accountants. Generate concepts and ideas for investment discussion materials and strategic transactions. Determine best strategies for conducting analyses and presenting findings to stakeholders. Liaise daily between the investment firm and its prospective and established clients. Participate in domestic and international travel in order to meet with clients one to two days per week and to share ideas at company meetings. Coordinate work flow on execution processes and marketing efforts in the technology sector. Provide Associates and Analysts with outlines on how to conduct financial analyses and compile requisite output materials for clients in the technology sector. Assign junior team members to client accounts and work streams. Ensure industry and firm training requirements are completed by the team. Conduct annual and mid-year reviews with junior team members.

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as Intern/Analyst/Associate in Investment Banking, Credit, Equity Research, Futures & Options Trading, Financial Sales, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree plus three (3) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires any amount of experience with the following skills: financial services industry; finance and accounting; key trends in capital markets; company financial statements; performing valuation analysis; analyzing unorganized and complex data sets; presenting technical and analytical analysis in PowerPoint; Microsoft Suite; Bloomberg, FactSet, Dealogic and ThomsonOne; and project management. This position requires Series 63 and Series 79 FINRA licenses. This position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel for client and firm meetings.
