Job Description

What you will do:

The Supply Chain Business Analyst will part of the ASC Material Control team under the Operations organization. Primary duties for discrepancy resolution from GRIR review with Accounts Payable. Additional duties include Program Management of activities under guidance from the Material Control Director and Engineering Systems Manager work through plant level Materials Managers, schedulers, material planners, and inventory control. Provide technical expertise and be in charge of training analysts, and plant / functional resources on specific processes and be focused on either processes, systems or metrics.

This role is expected to create an efficient and effective data analytical approach to drive cross-functional business insights. This role will promote a collaborative, data-driven environment and promoting Material Control excellence.

How you will do it:

* Coordinate with materials managers discrepancies from GRIR review with Accounts Payable (Business Center).
* Coordinate/resolve outstanding invoices (inventory/MRO) on weekly resolution report.
* Matching of drop shipments (buyouts) with supplier payments to properly account for revenue/cost for Plano.
* Responsible to implement standardization of processes enabled by standard IT solutions to achieve business efficiencies and critical business capabilities across business unit and supply chain.
* Engage key subject matter experts across the business to ensure defined business processes leverage best practices and meet the true needs of each organization. Serve as point of contact for assigned business leaders. Identify and secure approval of key business leaders and stakeholders for business processes and scope of work.
* Define and implement standard, best practice material planning and scheduling processes in manufacturing plants to optimize inventory and meet customer service levels, balanced with efficient manufacturing operations.
* Responsible to assist with documentation and training for business processes, including guidance required to ensure a consistent application across the business. Develop material to effectively communicate reasons for process changes as well as details of new processes.
* Maintains effective working relationship and communication with plant personnel, and operations support organization.
* Other duties as assigned.

10. Travel up to 25% of the time

What we are looking for:

* Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science)
* Four years' experience in a manufacturing environment or manufacturing support (e.g., materials management, scheduling, continuous improvement, warehousing, receiving).
* APICS CPIM and/or Six Sigma Certification preferred.
* Experience for implementation of ERP systems and/or Program Management experience for medium to large complexity projects preferred.
* Experience with Supply chain KPI's, database systems and warehousing. A student of best in class models and benchmarking standards.
* Ability to program manage list of activities across multiple plants, and evaluate completion of activities from multiple disciplines towards completion of a business project.
* Ability to manage multiple small to medium projects across multiple locations.
* Employee has authority to make certain decisions within projects life cycle and contribute to functional area decisions. A self-starter that identifies supply chain innovation opportunities and drives them for improvement and reacts to requests for support with equal efficacy.
* Comprehensive understanding of Materials Requirement Planning process within an ERP system.
* Must be able to work seamlessly across multiple functions within the organization to understand requirements and lead change management in order to deliver an enterprise wide program.
* Strong Interpersonal and team building skills
* Ability to work across as well as upwards in the organization to champion change. Comfortable with a level of ambiguity and a willingness to make decisions based on the information at hand.
* Experience working with demanding and complex internal and external customer requirements. The ability to be a resource to leadership for resolving fulfillment challenges.
* Strong analytical background with exposure to supply chain practices and driving change.
* Technical Requirements:
* Knowledge of ERP Systems (MacPac, SAP preferred)
* Knowledge of Materials Requirement Planning business process
* MS Excel, Access, VBA, Visio & Project
* Detailed oriented and accuracy driven
