What you will do

Johnson Controls invites you to apply for a Software Engineering internship located in Milwaukee, WI. This internship is designed to provide you with a positive work/training experience and challenging objectives. Specific identified internship responsibilities are outlined below.

How you will do it

The selected intern will be working with a senior software designer implementing, testing, and releasing features or new products. The intern will be expected to learn the overall development process and work within a team. Some knowledge of C, Java, Linux, and web development are helpful.

Duration: This will be a year round 2019 internship. Qualified students must be attending school in the Milwaukee area and available to work part-time during the semester.

What we look for


* Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
* Located in the Milwaukee area and available to work part-time during the semester and full-time during the summer.
* Pursuing a degree in Software Engineering or similar.
* U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.


* Demonstrates an ability to learn quickly and independently.
* Strong communication skills (verbal and written) preferred
* Demonstrated problem solving skills required
